This Lion dog is in my private collection and a wonderful piece Japanese history, the cloth body was missing when I got it and would of been of fine silk fabric, it is a restoration project that I will get to some day. To busy with clients restoration projects .The dogs / lions mouth works by going up and down and the ears also flip up and down, It is pretty cool, yes, I have a great time working on Japanese items, I enjoy the culture - just can't eat sushi, rare sea food.

Now you might ask what is my obession with Japanese dolls, pretty simple they have a wonder clock in Japan that is in what I call Doll Town The clock is amazing and I'm in process of building different types of clocks simlair to that clock.

The Clock can be researched as Ningyocho { Tokyo } Tower Clock, I just call it the Doll Town Clock.
