Micro Artists - Birds- Bugs - Basidiomycetes
The Cycle of nature and the root causes to hidden art with in a piece of wood, including spalting , be it from birds , bugs , fungus - regardless, it's a small world of of mico artists, it's bloody amazing. Some days I think I'm the only one left, that, thinks nature is super cool. Moving on

I'm no expert when it comes to micro artist , and that is what I call the fungus, Tiny Micro Aritist, it's my new Gig / Obsession { Not The OCD type - it is more of a Obsession with wanting to learn everything I can about these amazing little creatures} - so hang with me as I attemp to build this section of my website. I started out with a log from and old woodworkers estate ? in reality just a branch, if you will.

Not knowing what this wood was, I will soon { I only worked with Maple - Oak - Walnut - Cherry - Mahogany - Rosewood and pine over the past 40 + years and started about 10 years back working with Exotics } anyways , I found myself noticing the Snapsucker marks in the wood { Sapsucker , bird woodpecker } I'll cover the Sapsucker in more detail later on. For now - The Cute little bird left holes in the bark which lead to other bugs leaving a work of art under the bark.

So I'll start my journey here and add to this page as I get time.

I welcome any info you might have to add to this. Its pretty awesome
